In a matter of seconds, the ensemble’s small, dome-shaped tent is transformed into a ritual space shrouded in mystery during. A lyrical voice and two cellos form the sound world of the tent microcosm. Almost wordlessly, the artists spin the events around the central questions of why and how we should live, powerfully expressed through masterful hand-to-hand acrobatics. The piece is inspired by ancient, forgotten rituals of Asia Minor (Ko’ch), and life experiences we all know; moments of beauty, discomfort and danger. “Reclaim” is a gripping, immersive experience that blurs the boundaries between audience and performers.
